Event narrative (NOAA)
A severe thunderstorm producing winds estimated near 60 mph knocked down more than a dozen trees, as well as multiple camping tents and a large party tent. 35 people were injured, although most were minor bumps and bruises, with 3 people being transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
