Event narrative (NOAA)

Hoquiam recorded 45 mph sustained wind. A Central Park man was killed by a falling tree when he walked out onto his open air porch. About 10,000 people in Grays Harbor county lost power. Trees were knocked down over roadways and one man was injured when a car he was driving hit a downed tree.
