In Gig Harbor, a man was electrocuted to death while walking near a downed power line. In the Tacoma area two people were killed, and one injured, by a falling tree. In Gig Harbor, a lineman was injured when a tree struck their vehicle. A Spanaway man died in a house fire that was apparently started by a candle used for light.
