Temperatures this month ranged from the upper 90s to over 100 degrees during the month of July. An elderly women died in her overheated home on the 7th, and a second heat victim was found outside on the 15th while working on a job. A heat advisory was in effect from the 11th through the 18th, and then again from the 23rd through the 31st.
