Event narrative (NOAA)

Triple digit temperatures were recorded nearly every day during the month of July. A 4-year old died inside a vehicle on the 11th. Temperatures on this day were at or slightly above 100 degrees. A heat advisory was in effect from the 11th through the 18th, and then again from the 23rd through the 31st.
