Triple digit temperatures were recorded nearly every day during the month of July. On the 9th, a female crashed her all-terrain vehicle while riding on a deer lease and became disoriented in the heat while trying to walk for help. The medical examiner determined she died from heat exhaustion. A heat advisory was not in effect on this day, but temperatures were around 104 degrees.
