Record flooding along the North Branch of the Rancocas Creek affected Mount Holly. About 300 families were evacuated. The township municipal building and the county courthouse were flooded. Many downtown roads were flooded. Farther upstream in Eastampton Township, many properties in the Unionville section were also flooded. Farther upstream, the North Pemberton Railroad Station was badly damaged. Along the South Branch of the Rancocas Creek, dozens of homes were flooded in downtown Lumberton Township. In the southeastern part of the county, flooding occurred both the Mullica and Batsto Rivers.
