In Princeton, a 39-year-old emergency responder died from injuries sustained while investigating a submerged vehicle in flood waters. No one was in the vehicle. In Lawrence Township, a 50-year-old man became trapped in a sewer pipe at Shemin Nurseries and drowned. Flooding along the Delaware River and Assunpink Creek affected Trenton and northeast rail service. The Island and Glen Afton sections of Trenton was affected by flooding from the Delaware River. The Island section was under mandatory evacuation. About 70 homes were damaged and 50 were declared uninhabitable.
