Event narrative (NOAA)

A flood wave went down the Guadalupe River and affect homes along the river from New Braunfels down to Seguin. Property damage including flooded homes, trailers, vehicles, and boats, was seen along the banks of the river including areas around Lake Dunlap and Lake McQueeney. A total of 231 homes were damaged in Guadalupe County along the Guadalupe River. No damage estimate was available.
