Event narrative (NOAA)

Numerous vehicles were swept into Mountain Creek along highway 16...about 1 mile south of Comanche. Water rescues were performed...however two bodies were found in the creek. Also, a couple who lived along the creek lost their home to the flood waters. Highway 16 was closed between the Comanche and Mills county line.
