The Sabinal River crested at Sabinal at 38.28 feet on July 5 at 1345CST, where flood stage is 12.0 feet. The body of a man was recovered late on the afternoon of July 2. He had been trying to remove objects from the flood waters of the Sabinal River with his tractor when he was swept off the tractor and drowned.
