Event narrative (NOAA)

A 94 year old man was on his way to church when his truck was swept off the road and into a flooding creek. His body was recovered, still in his truck, Monday afternoon.|Several vehicles stranded in high water near Sheridan and B streets. Water was over one foot deep at the intersection of 27th street and G ave. 11th Street near Numu was closed due to high water. Interstate 44 was closed by high water near Rogers Lane. One foot deep water flowed over Mound road and Cache road. SE 60th and Bishop was impassable due to high water. A car was stranded in rushing water one mile east of I-44 on Gore ave. Several high water rescues were ongoing.
