Event narrative (NOAA)

Snowfall of 4 to 6 inches, including 6 inches at Sioux Falls, was accompanied by light to moderate winds. A 70 year old woman died of exposure in Sioux Falls after wandering away from her assisted living facility at night. Wind chills at the time varied from zero to 5 above.
