Event narrative (NOAA)

Periods of light snow produced a dusting of snow, mainly 1/4 inch or less, across Franklin County. The snow accumulations were confined mainly to grassy areas. However, some slush on a road near Dercherd resulted in a single care automobile accident which claimed the life of an on duty police officer.
