Event narrative (NOAA)

Sleet and snow totaled 4.7 inches 3 miles southwest of Dover (CoCoRaHS), 2.7 inches 2 miles southwest of Long Pool (cooperative observer), 2.1 inches 0.7 mile west of Russellville (CoCoRaHS), 2 inches 6.9 miles east of Dover (CoCoRaHS), and 1.5 inches at Pottsville (cooperative observer) and 7.3 miles east-northeast of Russellville (CoCoRaHS). An ice storm occurred in the northern part of the county, knocking down trees and power lines (utility company).
