Event narrative (NOAA)

A strong cold frontal brought light snow and wind gusts in excess of 50 mph. 1 to 3 inches of snow was common but blowing and drifting snow caused reduced visibilities and a three car collision claimed the life of a 12 year old girl on route 89 near Paris, Idaho.
