Event narrative (NOAA)

The Clover Fire developed in the community of Igo, 10 miles southwest of Redding, and forced many people to evacuate their homes. The fire grew to 8,073 acres, killed one 56-year old male who chose not to evacuate his home, and injured six people. The fire destroyed 68 residences and 128 outbuildings, and it damaged 5 additional residences and 10 outbuildings. Cost of the fire is unknown.
