Event narrative (NOAA)
Wind gusts to around 65 mph and heavy rainfall lead to numerous downed trees and power lines across the parish. Minor flooding was caused by 4 to 8 inches of rainfall. A wind gust of 61 mph was recorded at Fort Polk while a peak gust of 66 mph was recorded at the Vernon RAWs.
