Event narrative (NOAA)
An EF-1 tornado moved northeast out of Chickasaw County into Monroe County. At least 31 homes and businesses sustained minor damage. Three injuries occurred in the Wren and New Wren area. Numerous trees were uprooted or snapped along the path. Power lines were also knocked down as well.
