Event narrative (NOAA)
An EF1 tornado touched down at 1610 CST, about two miles north-northeast of Milan. The tornado proceeded east-northeast, and lifted about three and a half miles south-southeast of Boynton, at 1635 CST. The tornado destroyed a mobile home and killed a female occupant. Numerous trees were uprooted or damaged.
