Event narrative (NOAA)

A couple of large trees were uprooted and a few 10-inch diameter trees were snapped off of Bloom Road. Numerous large trees were blown down in the vicinity of the intersection of Old Kays Mill Road and Deer Park Road, some onto houses. Half a dozen homes in the area had shingles blown off and a barn lost its roof on Black Steer Drive. One fatality occurred when a tree fell onto a man in the 2900 block of Bloom Road in Finksburg.
