Event narrative (NOAA)

Thunderstorm winds estimated at 70 miles an hour blew down a three foot diameter tree. The tree fell on a pick up truck that was stopped at a traffic light near the 5600 block of South Peoria. The man in the truck died as the cabin was crushed by the tree.
