Event narrative (NOAA)

Several trees and power lines were blown down. One downed power line started a brush fire, and a man was electrocuted by the downed lines. A peak wind gust of 52 mph was measured at the Jackson Medgar Wiley Evers Airport ASOS site KJAN at 2:39 PM.
