Event narrative (NOAA)

A woman was reported to have died after a tree fell on her while she was in a tent near the 700th block of North 5th Street, near downtown Sacramento. Sacramento Fire Department PIO reported the tree fell due to strong winds. Gusts to 30 to 40 mph were measured in the area.
