Event narrative (NOAA)
Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph pushed west from the western slopes of Vermont's Green mountains into the immediate suburbs with Burlington. There were numerous tree branches, a few trees, power lines and some roof shingles damaged in communities like Essex, Essex Junction, South Burlington, Williston and Colchester.
