Event narrative (NOAA)
Gusty southeast winds created choppy two-to-three foot seas on the Indian River. A man fishing alone on the river within a 13-foot flat-bottom watercraft near Titusville was tossed from the boat by the rough seas and drowned. The man was not wearing a life jacket.
