Event narrative (NOAA)

Two men were fishing on rocks in the Marin Headlands. A sneaker wave swept them off the rocks south of Rodeo Beach and into the Ocean. The Coast Guard, National Park Service, and Southern Marin figherfighters responded. They found one individual clinging to rocks and rescued him and he was treated for hypothermia. One victim was found by a Coast Guard boat in the water, deceased.
