Event narrative (NOAA)
Three people were swept away by rip currents along the coast of Luquillo, just behind the La Parrilla establishment. All three individuals were rescued from the water. Two survived the incident, while one person was transported to a hospital in Fajardo, where the individual was later pronounced dead due to drowning.
