A 19 year old male visiting the beach attempted to rescue 2 persons around 8 pm from the water. The male began to struggle in the surf due to rip currents. There were no lifeguards on duty. Surf was reported around 2-4 ft. A moderate rip current risk was headlined in NWS Jacksonville products.
