Event narrative (NOAA)

Local media broadcasted a video from Palm Beach Fire Rescue of Ocean Rescue lifeguards pulling a man out of choppy surf at an unguarded beach between Juno Beach Park and Loggerhead Beach. The man was unconscious and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.||The combination of moderate onshore winds and a NE swell led to a high risk of rip currents at the beaches of Palm Beach County.
