Event narrative (NOAA)

A man and woman from Massachusetts died and 6 others had to be rescued when a strong rip current developed along the beach in Seabrook, New Hampshire. Both victims were administered CPR at the scene and taken to a nearby hospital. The 49-year-old man was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. His 47-year-old wife died the following day.
