Event narrative (NOAA)

Three tourists were carried away by a strong rip currents on Thursday afternoon. Based on information received from emergency managers and local newspapers, a 72 years old tourist drowned while the two others were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard and Marine Search and Rescue Unit of PR.
