Event narrative (NOAA)

A junior from New York University, plus friends, was on a spring break trip at Jupiter. The NYU student drown when he and a friend plus others got caught in a rip current. A Good Samaritan hopped out of a passing cab and dragged the friend to shore, but could not get to the student in time. The student was pronounced dead at Jupiter Medical Center.
