Nearly one-half on an inch of ice accumulated at the Corvallis AWOS, with up to 1 inch reported by the Public. This only added to the ice that had fallen on the 12th and 13th with continued disruptions to transportation and power. Also the persistent freezing temperatures over several days resulted in a suspected hypothermia fatality.
