Event narrative (NOAA)
Up to one-third of an inch of ice led to widespread tree and power line damage along with power outages. Over 100 trees had fallen due to ice with nearly 40 downed power lines. Three vehicle crashes occurred. One crash involved a fatality when a falling limb hit a vehicle.
