Event narrative (NOAA)
Up to an inch of ice accumulated on exposed surfaces resulting in the downing of numerous trees, branches, power and phone poles, and wires across northern Worcester County. Many of these trees fell on cars and houses and blocked roads, resulting in the closure of some of the roads.
