Event narrative (NOAA)

There was a voluntary evacuation for the parish. Numerous trees power lines and power poles were blown down across the parish. Homes and businesses were damaged from fallen trees or from wind. All of the parish was without power immediately after the storm. Two indirect deaths due to heat related stress. Wind gusts ranged from 110 to 130 mph.
