Event narrative (NOAA)

Hurricane Gustav moved across lower St. Martin Parish, damaging homes and businesses. The hardest hit area was Stephensville. The school had two air conditioners blow off the roof, and a radio tower next to the school lost the top 20-30 feet of the tower.
