Event narrative (NOAA)

High surf conditions led to an incident today in which two people were walking over a rock formation near the natural pools at Poza Las Mujeres Beach. A wave swept one person into the water. Emergency Management personnel successfully rescued the other individual, while the search for the missing person continued for two days until the body was recovered.
