Event narrative (NOAA)

Snowfall totals varied greatly across southern St. Louis and Carlton counties during the event. Locations near Lake Superior received very little while inland locations received 4 to 6 inches. A total of 7 inches was reported near Wright. One person died from exposure after leaving a bar as the snow was ending and was found a few days later.
