Event narrative (NOAA)

A fatal accident on the southbound lanes on SR 17 at Laurel Curve due to heavy rain. A 57 year old man lost control of his Nissan Sentra which slid from the southbound lanes into northbound traffic at 10:45 am. The Nissan struck a Chevy Suburban, spun around backward and bashed into a Toyota 4Runner which then collided with an Acura.
