High temperatures in Southeastern Arizona were 16 degrees above normal, causing Minor HeatRisk. The Safford Airport reached a high temperature of 96 degrees Fahrenheit. The Pima County Medical Examiner found that heat was the primary factor in the cause of death for an individual in Pima.
