High temperatures in Southeastern Arizona were 5 degrees above normal, causing Moderate HeatRisk. A Benson CWOP site reached a high temperature of 98 degrees Fahrenheit. The Pima County Medical Examiner found that heat was a factor in the cause of death for an individual in Benson and was heat caused.
