Hot temperatures 8 to 10 degrees above normal were experienced in Sells causing Moderate HeatRisk category to be reached. The Sells RAWS reached a high temperature of 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The Pima County Medical Examiner found that heat was the primary factor in the death of one individual.
