Event narrative (NOAA)

Hot temperatures 3 to 6 degrees degrees above normal were experienced across southeast Arizona resulting in moderate Heat Risk. The Pima County Medical Examiner determined that heat was the primary cause of death of one individual found in desert areas near Sam Simon in Cochise County.
