Event narrative (NOAA)

Hot temperatures about 4 to 7 degrees above normal were experienced in eastern Pima County on June 25, causing the Moderate Heat Risk category to be reached. Tucson had a high of 104 degrees on June 26. The Pima County Medical Examiner confirmed that heat confirmed that heat was the primary factor in the death of one individual located in their residence in Tucson.
