Event narrative (NOAA)

Above normal temperatures occurred in western Pima County on July 24th. High temperatures included 103 degrees at Ajo and 101 at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. The Pima County Medical Examiner confirmed that heat was the primary cause of death of the unidentified male found 20 miles west of Ajo.
