Event narrative (NOAA)
A man accidently left his sleeping 13 month old daughter in the back seat of his car, parked on 5th street near Carolina Printing, where the father works. The baby was left unattended for three hours. The autopsy determined the little girl died from hyperthermia due to the extreme heat. The high temperature that day was in the low to mid 90s.
