Event narrative (NOAA)
A 2-year-old died after being left in a hot car for almost four hours at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute. By noon MST, the outside air temperature was 93 degrees which may have resulted in temperatures exceeding 135 degrees in the vehicle.
