Event narrative (NOAA)

A 74-year old woman was found dead in her home in south Oklahoma City due to heat exhaution. The control switch for the central air heating and cooling system was set in the heat position rather than the cool position. The high temperature in Oklahoma City was 103, which was the 12th day in a row at or above 100 degrees.
